Ministries

The positive impact that you make on the lives of others can never be repeated or replaced. First Presbyterian Church offers many opportunities to share your time, talents, and faith.

The following volunteer opportunities are available to our members.

Sewing circle

A needlework group gathers every Tuesday morning from 10 am to 12 pm in Cook Conference Room.  Knitting, crocheting, and other needle crafts provide good fellowship and opportunities to learn new skills.  This group works on individual projects as well as some that benefit others, such as prayer shawls, baby hats for newborns, and caps for chemo patients.  Everyone is welcome to come sit and knit (or whatever)!

Road Side Clean up

Our amazing God has given us this beautiful earth to enjoy. We take pride in this and the appearance of our community! We participate in the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce Quarterly Clean Up.

Scout Troop 339 & Pack 339

First Presbyterian Church of Laurens sponsors Scout Troop 339 & Pack 339. With a great group of boys, young men, and leaders, we are very blessed to have this opportunity.
