Children

Sunday Morning’s

6 WEEKS – 4K
9:15 to 11:45 am on the Nursery Hall across from Hunter Hall.

Our nursery and pre-school area is available to all children through 4K. Consistent, loving care is provided for our little ones during Sunday School and worship. It is our desire to provide a safe, loving, and clean environment for your child. Please, bring and label the supplies necessary to care for your child (diapers, bottles, cups, etc…)

5K – 5TH GRADE
9:30 to 10:15 AM upstairs in the Children’s Classrooms.

Children’s discipleship is one of our church’s most important ministries. We build relationships, share faith experiences, and support one another as we grow in our faith. We will use various art and creative expressions each week! Children’s Sunday School teachers include: Robyn Prince, Lesley Mitchell, Annette Patterson, Margaret Davis, and Julie Edwards.

3K – 5K
We believe that children learn to worship by regularly attending worship with their families. While we provide a nursery during worship for children ages six weeks through 2 years of age, children are welcome to worship with their families in the sanctuary. We do, however, offer Extended Session during the Sunday morning worship hour for children through 5K. Parents may prefer to have their preschool-age children remain with them in worship through the Children’s Moment and then escort them to Extended Session.

Wednesday Nights

5K to 5th Grade

5:00 to 7:00 pm in Hunter Hall

Our Wednesday night programming is filled with lots of fun and learning. The evening begins at 5:00 for dinner together. At 5:30, the children and youth seperate for an age appropriate lesson and time of recreation. The curriculum varies from semester to semester, but covers many key themes of our faith. At 6:30, the children and youth reconnect for our Fine Arts Ministry taught by our Director of Fine Arts, Katie Dey, and the director of the handbell choir, Jean Cann. Our children and youth will take what they learn in the Fine Arts Ministry and occaisionally share their gifts with the congregation during worship.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
