Pre-School – First Grade

Overview
The Pre-K through First Grade classroom of First Pres Laurens connects children and families with opportunities to grow in faith. A family friendly church, we feel that children are an important part of the worshipping community of the church. During Sunday School and the worship hour, this class is led by a team of teachers who are regularly in the classroom. This class is intended to teach God’s children through Bible stories, music, crafts and free play. This classroom is the basic training for our young Christians. During the worship hour, the children walk to the sanctuary for the children’s sermon led by volunteers within the church. Following this, the younger children return to the classroom, and children in first grade are encouraged to join their families for the remainder of the worship service.

Services also available during special evening events.

How to Attend
The teachers are in the room by 9:20 a.m. so that parents can attend Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. or arrive for the worship hour at 10:30 a.m.
